Decorating from different worlds
Some things never change, such as the way we like to share. First it was our books, clothes, make-up and then, when my sisters grew up and married men of faraway lands, we shared new cultures, new styles and new homes.

For years, we've been talking about "doing something together". Finally, early 2006, we stayed in one place long enough to set up QocoonDecor.

QocoonDecor took shape when we discovered that despite our distance and varied influences, we still go weak in the knees at the same things. We love hunting down objects of beauty. We love seeing the I-sooo-want-this look on people's faces. We love creating snuggle-worthy havens. For me, it's a reward coming home to one everyday.

We're not experts in home decorating, just fellow pilgrims weaving our own cocoons. Along the way we have picked up honest-to-goodness decorating ideas, amassed over the years. Some from our friends. Much from magazines, books, TV and our Mom.

Since I'm the one with no diapers to change and husband to pick up after, I've been given the privilege of channeling our collective know-how on to QocoonDecor. That said, this site is not meant to be a one-way conversation. We hope you'll chime in and share your ideas with us. We'd love to learn from you too.
